 Have you read the rules? 2.2. Both team members must ride in the same cycling jersey and cycling pants. theres bairly enough room for me in my jerseys and shorts let alone a team mate

I reckon next years got to go right Quinny. Hasn't it? I mean... this years pretty much sucked so far lol. And after that comment LUke I'm seeing all sorts of Monty Python type lunacy on a bike Perhaps you could use this as a stepping stone for the GDR / TD the year after?

I doubt it maybe next year, my planning has already started, first off is to lose some weight, and build up my fitness, which will take a while.

Well to be totally honest, until Rob Lees effort, the records weren't amazing, most people to have done it, although they were quick (Mike Cotty most notably), they suffered with poor weather, mechanicals etc. I don't think you'd need to be super human to get a good time. Rob's effort was unsupported too, you could have an official supported record, I believe Rory at USE is the official 'keeper' of the records!

I'm seriously tempted to go for the Singlespeed one. *ssshh* Don't tell anyone.
If you want someone to do a recce ride with you I'd be up for that.

Well even if (by some miracle) I did manage to set a record I'd expect it to get knocked down pretty damn fast I want to give it a good crack though.
