Commencal are cheating, there aren't any pedals

That's what they all do in Whistler now

Is David superstitious?

Isn't it great that Trek have found another bandwagon to jump on with Fixies? At least they've made it too hideous for anyone to actually buy one

eh?

Is it bad I find that Trek fixie vaguely appealing? Granted, the colour scheme could do with a rethink, but a belt-driven fixed - think about the lack of maintenance for winter commuting

Belt-drive makes a whole lot of sense for commuter bikes.

So the back end on that Seven really does only attach to the front on one side of the main pivot then?!

Looks good in black though - I think I can see where Dan :/'s next big purchase may be.

*embarrassed cough*

I just meant that David went from post 12 to post 14 with post 13 being the Marin Alchemist, no number. That's all. Blame it on that having been my first post of the morning

The Trek with a different colour scheme could look great (although keep the brown grips & saddle). It's just fixed and proper commuting for most commuters aren't a great combination. Now, with a flip flop hub it'd be tempting and the belt drive is a great idea.

Is it actually fixed? Big manufacturers don't tend to sell bikes for the road with fixed sprockets on as stock. Even Langsters come with freewheels (but with flip-flop hubs).

That Fuel is hideous! As for the red, white and black, I'm surprised Spesh haven't filed a law suit. I suppose it worked for the Nazi propaganda artists so it should sell bikes.

ah, I see what you mean. Nope not superstitious - I was even born on the 13th...

Agree about the Trek. I'm sure it can be run as a singlespeed easy enough

All the best people were born on the 13th, the really cool ones were born on a friday 13th.

I'm not really seeing the similarity. Kinda like saying a silver Mondeo looks just like a silver Vectra.
