I'm going to look like a right berk next summer, aren't I?
 Some good guesswork though!
You won't be the only one Mike, most people are guessing the same sort of thing.
Bah, I thought I had some new guesses
Berk? That is a great word, one that is used in our office quite a lot. I would guess that it will be a telepathically controlled groupset made entirely of pandas fingernails.
I guess it will be really expensive.
I think Mike guessed that already.
I'd heard rumours coming out of SRAM of pro xc racers having USB ports fitted in the back of their necks to control electronic shifters
Seems a bit low-tech. Haven't they heard of Bluetooth?
Ok then, i guess it will give shimano a run for it's money. I like sram stuff.

Seems a bit low-tech. Haven't they heard of Bluetooth? Yeah, but it weighs less.
Ok then, i guess it will give shimano a run for it's money. I like sram stuff. I really hope it does. Despite my allegience to the Big S I do like to see other manufacturers up the ante.

Mm. If it wasn't for X.0, XTR wouldn't be as good as it is. If XTR hadn't come along, SRAM wouldn't be working as hard as they undoubtedly are on XX. And so it goes
Bluetooth is too slow and constantly uses sync, got to stay low tech for some things. So you'll click a little lever / button and your gears will change, amazing I've been after a feature like that for years, this stopping to manually change gears sucks.
Why not an auto gear change? It would sense.....some things.....and change gear to keep your cadence the same. And for Singletrack readers a clever override function to leave it in 'manly', which also raises a big flag saying 'tough guy'. An additional flag saying 'ultimate' comes up when you switch off the freewheel too. All the integrated stuff sounds interesting for shedding yet more weight, and introducing a whole new world of incompatibility

Shimano sells an automatic hub-gear for utility bikes. Changes up if you start pedalling fast, down if you start pedalling too slow. Shifts itself into a low gear when you stop, ready to start again.
Automatic, gear hub, I WANT the ultimate in LAZY
Mm. If it wasn't for X.0, XTR wouldn't be as good as it is. If XTR hadn't come along, SRAM wouldn't be working as hard as they undoubtedly are on XX. And so it goes Like XTR's been around forever, surely before SRAM
I meant the current generation of XTR.
Sprokkit was on about the next Gen of XTR which is going to be battery powered and run on little motors and you can tune the indexing for each rear cog and front position for which rear cog your in and bla bla bla. Go out for a ride, battery goes flat can't change gear, hmmm NO thanks!!
