with regards to downhill, Until more venues around the uk sort decent uplifts out, i can't see the UCI staging any wc elsewhere.And as the Dragon Downhill trauma has shown, the F.C. can't half keep pushing the goal posts further back, i don't blame Jc for not carrying on with the series anymore. 

I wouldnt know about xc though, don't need uplift for that, and there are loads of great places around britain where they could hold world cups.

As a venue there really isn't anywhere that I can think of to challenge the Bill, so there it will probably stay for the forseeable future.
