US pricing is $2299 which is $300 more than the 'old' model and given the fact that SC UK like to stick £ / $ the same pricing your verdict of 'not cheap' is probably spot on.

Very nice. Though I dont think I am careful enough to own a Carbon frame.

Just a quick word to the BM boffins. Is there any way you can arrange it that the photos are in a slide show format rather than having to click each picture separately?

Nice bike BTW.

Not so sure on the colour scheme, but I do like Santa cruz bikes.

That's an awesome-looking bike and over 1lb lighter than other 'light' FS bikes! Want one. WANT ONE NOW!

It is very nice but I'd rather a COTIC SOUL.

Ladeez & Genelmennn... QUINNY... bought to you by... COTIC!

It's available in silver & 'nude'as well as that red. Well. The sticker panels are silver.

That's lovely! Wonder if it rides better than the current one, which I for one hated!

vey nice, and to add insult the bstartds sent me an email about this that pointed out George W Monkey rides a Trek

George luvver

I'd really like to see the test results from the impact rig. If they're happy not to put a rider weight limit on the bike it's got to be pretty damn tough.

Show/hide user stats
Why? Not many bikes do have weight limits these days.
Show/hide user stats
Whyte still do, the SC Superlight still does, Turner still do (at least on some of the range), Scott do. I'm sure there are probably others but I can't be bothered to look now
Show/hide user stats

I'm fairly certain Scott don't anymore, and I didn't think the new Superlight did, they're not Superlight after all!

Trek, Spesh, Giant, Titus etc don't. I think materials are that much more advanced that weight limits are far less common.

Sorry Nick, I was under the impression Scott still did. That'll learn me.
