That epic word certainly gets bandied about a lot these days...

Looks like a fun event but can a 3 day race really be called epic?

Certainly a lot more affordable than the full TR race! Good luck to them.

Yes, sod team sports, if I put in the effort, I want the reward. If I went all that way and was let down by someone else's lack of training/mechanical epititute/bad luck I'd be fuming!

I never realised that you couldn't do the trans rockies solo.

I had it all planned out, trans wales this year, trans alps next year, and the trans rockies the year after that.

Damm it back to the drawing board.

Anyone want to put a team together? (apart from Nick of course)

For which one? Trans Wales doesn't appeal to me at all but the Alps and Rockies would be awesome. I still don't think it quite warrants the epic tag though

TansAlps 2010, I am doing the trans wales this year as my first introduction to racing. The trans wales is meant to be a bit more relaxed format.
