Call a spade a spade - This is an Evans own brand.

As such, we can expect the bikes handling to be surly, unhelpful and at times ignorant.

Being picky, how come a "designed for the UK" MTB frame has what seems to be a rear-facing seatpost slot?

Saw the Evans lot riding full suss versions at SSMM2006. Looked pretty feathery

i am just not sure why if evans wants an own brand bike, are they bothering to try and pretend that its some micro brand manufacture, isn`t there something like 20 od models all coming out at the same time, because yeargh all micro manufactures can do that in one hit.
it seems they are trying to use the cudos and reputation of niche and micro manufactures for purly comercial and promotional reasons.

just link it if it is an own brand, give it a name and be proud of your products.

Hmmmm, I'd not touch one with a bargepole until I'd heard of a lot of people riding them and liking them.

Edinburgh bike co-op also has it's own range of bikes. I think the city bike is the best-seller from the range though.

Obviously Evans has seen this & wants a slice of the same pie.
