having done the strathpuffer this year I dream of owning such a van.
How much could pick one of these converted vans up for?

Jim
know what you are saying. Next year I'll stay in a campervan! It took 6 days to get my gear dry.
Will get one hired from Inverness for about £100 for the weekend.

bit of a cliche are they not?

Yeh but putting bigger engines in VW campers is a problem, as they are air cooled and sat at the back.
Tend to be driven my middle class 30 somethings trying to recapture their yooof ;)

An orange 76 Devon was our home for a year. Five years on a few oil changes, a plug change and regular fuel pipe replacement.
......yeh but that was years ago John ;)

Not if you do it correctly. Rikki is running something like a 2.6 litre in that one pictured and has run it all over Europe. With the correct full flow oil system then its not a problem at all.
 ....i stand corrected then :)
Yeh but putting a bigger engine in a VW camper is like putting bigger ear rings on Pat Butcher........just making it worse :)
 Who's Rikki ?
