Why are all the pictures really small? What's the point of saying "a lovely headtube badge" if you can't see the part in question. Normally you can click on it and a nice big picture appears...
Hey Tom, I agree with you, and I think I might just have the answer...
Seeing as how most of this forward thinking handmade stuff is exculsive as is most things before they get commercialised, they don't want to spill the beans as it were, just yet. Hush hush , or mum's the word on these hand...jobs! From what I saw, and hear thru the grape vine, the other side of the world which does ever increasingly clever clever clones is all out to get to grips with best of American MTB designs ( amongst other things ). So naturally if the day comes where we can't upload or click on and enlargen images, it will be a sad day in the industry indeed as well as in the customer dept.
Praise the lord then for bikes stores where you can feel the real deal...and try before you buy...
The old URTs usually had the pivot nearer the BB. The Zorro seems to set out to amplify all of URTs inherent problems. Curving top tubes upwards is a nice way of increasing stand-over height without increasing frame strength. A single-speed belt drive obviously successfully replaces the friction saved by eliminating the derailleur with friction from the belt. Cannondale proved how extending the drop out beyond the seat stay nicely weakened the rear triangle. Adding a tube between the seat stays and seat tube is a cunning way of reducing the brazed contact area and triangulation thus nicely reducing strength.
To sum up: what a load of rubbish engineering (no smiley).
