Don't miss it. This is THE BEST Welsh enduro of the year.

At least me rear mech cant get smashed of this year.
Done it twice. Lots of lovely climbing! :)

I shall attend once more
??? Dont know hwta happen there, lol. Must have hit enter half way through by mistake.
Different place to where that happened anyway Paul. Not so rocky

Don't know why Mike said it is rocky, can only suppose he is one of those who haven't 'discovered' our patch. I'm not sure if any future publishing staff, past or present, have ever been here.
I've got a completely new bit between the first water stop and Wynn and Margarets farm , and also a new route on Hergest going out so you don't have to climb all the way to the top
I did this in 04 with the tail end of the Flu and a heavy inefficent FS, wussed it this year will try for 06 though.

This used to be the Marin Rough ride didn't it, different sponser hey.

Not that rocky at all there, suites a HT perfectly.

My route in 04 was a straight climb outta the box from the school to 1000ft or something stupid, with being ill and less fit than I am these days ( yes really ) that just wiped me out, finished last but 7, but I did finish :) Many didn't.

I did that ibe Dylan. Bit hot too wasn't it?
Total scorcher did not help at all.

Burgers where nice at that farm house though. The bit after the farm house was the best bit aswell.

not as hot as it was at the mbr event alan i bet. Me and paul are doing it this year, you going to join us too dylan?
Not far off Sinead and just as nasty as it was early in the year so I for one wasn't acclimatised

"Don't know why Mike said it is rocky"

That'd be because your press release said it was, Jerry - "mainly
on glorious rocky moorland trails away from farmland, and with NO forestry".

"I'm not sure if any future publishing staff, past or present, have ever been here."

I'm afraid that the relevance of this comment eludes me.

Just checked our new website, and Phil, for some unaccountable reason, has described the route as rocky, so apologies to Mike.
This year the route doesn't go to the top of the first climb so it'll give folks a chance to acclimatize and I've taken out the one rocky track to the farm stop and repaced it with something vaguely singletrack

So it's actually not rocky? That's a shame, I like rocks ;-)

I thought in the dim and distant past you had worked for Future Mike, and over the years I've asked them several times to do a feature of the area, but they never have. Last time was an event report in 94. Mind you you got very close recently in the Black Mountains but that's different rock. Abject Apologies if I've got that wrong
