Packed up- Anyone had the same problem

Had my mini blaster for about 9 months, used it maybe once a month. It has now packed up. Haven't got the receipt so cannot see Halfords being very helpful.

I though Top Peak was meant to be the best and last forever, any one had similar problems?

Mine did the same. Taking it apart and geasing the O rings makes it work again for a while. New O rings may help.

do you keep the pump on the bike or in your bag ?

i used to keep mine attached to the down tube on the bike and the pumps would only last a few months(weeks in the winter) at a time.

since i started keeping it in me pack, no worries.

cleaning and greasing the thing is always a good idea too

Had mine about 10 months and the same thing happened (only discovered when attempting to repair a puncture 8 miles from home).

Took it to my LBS who sent it back to Topeak. This was about 4 weeks ago and I'm still waiting.

Kept on the downtube, but the head is covered so thought that would stop any damage. Still managed to get full of crud though.

Halfords have said they will look at it.

How did you get on Phil?

I called my LBS to see if they had any news from Topeak and they said to pop down to the shop with my receipt and they'd just give me a new one, so I did and they did.

Took it into Halfords who said i needed the receipt, they reckoned that the mud had knackered it.

didn't have the receipt, but thought i had the Transaction on my credit card Statement.

Took it back to Halfords, statement in hand, apparantly that wasn't it. But out of goodwill they changed it. Top Result and nice to see a shop like Halfords being so helpful.
