there's often more show up than post on the forum, I've said 7:45 so best stick to that - but will try make that actual set-off rather than approx ; )

MTB bog snorkelling ??  actually, I quite like the sound of that.

Good idea adding lead weight to the bike to make it race worthy, should do that with the Elites in 24hr events.

I think they supply the (special lead filled) bike so no worries about water ingress. Their bog looks more like a dirty pond really, I think our local bogs have a much greater  organic matter content. but yeah we should keep practicing.

the only bike I have in rideable condition has slick skinny tyres & drop bars, so that's me out, sorry folks.

Cake needs front brake bleeding as I can't get the pads and the rotor into the caliper; hardtail needs (1) a chain and (2) a rear brake. I have them here, still in the packaging...I just need one of them "round tuit" things

We already have Stu & Mick as defs and have no probs entering as we are - but I know others here have shown interest and we can enter with one more rider.

I need to know pretty quick 'cos it's nearly full and closing date is the 8th.  Will enter as we are if no hear soon.
