I found the same thing but a bit cheaper at the camping shop between Pool and Otley (can't remember the name). Put in last night, my winter boots are bone dry this morning, and stink free
Ric - sounds too good to be true. I'll pop down to Casey's Camping and have a look. Mine are in the garden again, which is where they belong apparently. Cheers for the ride again.
rob my mate from work is up for the dusk til dawn but he can only stay around til about midnight but hes willing to bang in some laps to start us off if we want to get us going lol he is very fast tho and likes to win things he enters
Mick, he does know it doesn't start 'til 8.00 pm? it seems a long way to travel for such a short time to enjoy the event, but yeah that's ok with me. May mean we don't all get out there 'til the early hours - I'm fine with that if you and Stu are.
i'll have to check with him again rob as id told him i thought it was 6pm til 6am . i'll let you know when i find out. if anyone else whats in before tho no probs
Ok here's another date to start thinking about - yup it's the annual end of season 'blast' (drag?) that is Lightwater Laike XC, Nov 9th so plenty time to think about it.
They appear to given up on the crazy sponsorship or pay-thru-the-nose scheme they tried last year (which seemed to have halved entries), now it's back to the old pay (£20) and ride thing, (although I think you still get free entry if fancy collecting sponsorship.)
Hi Peninne - went to the Mill due to grotty weather but it perked up so went for a walk, that ended up quite long. Wish I'd had my bike............
Rob - was still thinking about D2D (photos of SITS have not encouraged me!), looks like you might be sorted though. Might well be up for Lightwater Laike.
hi jenny it would be better to have someone there for the full bash rather than just few hours. go on you know you want to be able to save on fuel as i have a van that will seat four and carry four bikes . i think
Hiya. I'm looking for a group to go for a ride with and live in North Leeds. I've got a bike with lights and am not afraid to get it mucky (good job at the moment) so would like to come along to the next ride if it's reasonably close to me. Hope it's a 'more the merrier' type group. Will keep checking here for the ride info.
