Oops forgot to say - Evans now price match so I'd be tempted to see if you can get them to match the above, and replace the rubbish ones they put on for free as a goodwill gesture.
You might get £50 for yours second hand...

Rob- nice to see you at SSUK at the weekend... how is the rib?
Craig, only hurts when I breath, or jolt it - usual rib thing really. Taking it easy for a few days see how it goes. Hopefully reet for Mayhem - you guys doing that? see plenty pics of you on flickr, (not many on bikes tho') Top marks to Kirsty for even attempting that tangfastic/coke comp! that looked dangerous. ssuk

For the guy asking about forks. Sorry I can't remember your name but I presume it was Paul! not me Gov, I was riding the already marzocchi shod steel hard tail. I think it was David G.

'Dave' was my backup guess
Yup, that's me! Thanks - I'll have a look at the links now.

Thanks for leading Ben/Andy enjoyed the route, lots secret bits on trials I thought i'd ridden before. Cheers Mark

If there is interest will do ride tonight from Hunters Pub off the Otley Harrogate road, normal start time of 7.30pm. Similar stuff to one I did a few weeks back but with less dust and fawnography.
I'll be out tonight, Hunter's sounds good. See you there.
John, please do another ride from the Hunters some other time, I've already committed myself to play 5 a side!
May I volunteer a ride from The New Inn, Eccup for Tuesday next week?
A fine evening ride upto Stainburn moor yesterday, trails still pretty much mud free despite the recent rain. Just wondering how others faired with the evil midgies? I'm not usualy botherd too much, but appear to have been eaten alive as just counted 40 bites on one leg!
Cheers for the ride it was well worth making the effort to get out. My legs looked a bit eaten last night but this morning seem to have all but gone just tingling a little. I guess John's ribs my be a little sore this morning though!!

rob- we're having a Mayhem free year this year. part of me hopes that guarantees good weather for those persevering! got a sportive and the STW weekender thing to do, so won't be missing it too much i hope

Thanks for the outing last night Mr m. Enjoyed the stuff in Stainburn. Pity you had to miss out on the beer and dash to work. Midges seem to have avoided me thankfully but I did have my legs and arms covered. Must remember to pack some midge repellent for Mayhem.
been to Eastnor many times, never had any problem with midges tho' - maybe they're just overwhelmed by the amount of tasty people to choose from.
for those who find themselves as themain course for midges may I recommend to you........... "Avon, skin so soft!" as endorsed by 45 commando, Arbroath!
