Some of you have already kindly sponsored us but if theres anyone who missed the previous posts you can go to http://www.justgiving.com/bradfordcancer-c2c-2009/ and sponsor online. This is me! (I know I look like I'm catching flys, but I was breathing through my mouth as I had a head cold.)

Hmmm, that's not the pic I thought I'd linked to Darren! I have no idea who that bloke is or whether he is or isn't called Darren!

MrsFlash: I met some Bogtrotters on Hawkswick Clowder (all 5 of them!) SFB said he'd seen you and Rich with a group of 35 STW riders. I did see the 'massive' group from a far but you were coming back from Middle Farm. Did you take the wrong track or something? Great day for biking even with the cloud cover. Just a make it up as I go type of ride for me. Old Cote Moor, Yew Cogar, Hawkswick Clowder, Mastiles, Weets, Boss & Malham Moors and back to Kettlewell

A big thanks to my fellow 3 NL riders, Jules, SamS and Mr.m and the other 5 guys for completing the C2C for Bradford Cancer. But top marks must go to SamS and Mr.m for the extra 6 mile trail at Whinlatter and doing the Coach Road on the first day but more impressive clearing that off road lung buster up to Hartside Cafe on day 2. Many thanks to all the riders and those of you who have sponsored us on the Justgiving site.

Granville, yes, due to not paying attention in the slightest, we neglected to turn right after the stream and carried straight on! Soon realised what we'd done though and corrected ourselves. Sounds like you had a good day out We had a truly fantastic ride. In spite of their being 31 of us, we did 30miles and were back at the cars by 4.15, not bad going. Was a good route as well, lots of fun. It's safe to say that my mojo has come back, I thoroughly enjoyed myself. Was nice to see SFB again, it's been a while. I even saved him a piece of cake for afterwards. he said their group did 33 miles, I think they got back to the cars about half an hour after us.

Granville, Was one of the 5 wearing a Northwave skeleton shirt? We bumped into some guys yesterday at the Tennants arms at Kilnsey maybe the same guys? We'd just come down Mastilles so had no choice but to stop at the TA.
|
 |
Yes, that was Chris. At the top of the alternative to the Mastiles descent I bumped into them again. They were reversing my route back to Winterburn & the Weets, then Settle.

Any plans for Tuesday/Thursday night yet guys? Cheers

I have an idea for Thursday but let's see if anyone else comes up with something first; while riding on my doorstep is very handy for me, it's not too handy for the 'North' Leeds folk
