Tuesday @ 18:30 is good for me.

Who is picking the route, John/Carlton?

I need that link to the meeting point when you get a chance John :-)

I'm OK for Tuesday.

John, looking at your link are we meeting at the Bay Horse Pub?

I know a 10 mile loop from the bottom of the tramway. Up the path onto the Glen, up the steep track to Dobrudden caravan park, down the side of the Golf Course to the car park above the White House, up Sconce lane to the Reservoir, left onto Dick Hudsons, left at DH, turn right on BW to Tewitt House, down to mini round/t at Eldwick and left, right into Sheriff Lane - all the way to the bottom, right onto bottom of Tramway.

You could add a bit on, any suggestions?

Simon - cheers for the offer of a lift. Derek might be coming along though - and I said I'd give him a lift! If he doesn't make it out for any reason, then I'll drop you a line and we can share transport.

Cheers
Neil

yes, it's pretty much that, starting at the Bay Horse, but in reverse & not completely...I'll post up more info over the weekend.

you'll know most of the route then Andy, I just need to sort out the start & finish tonight - I should've done it over the weekend but spent 2 days digging a big hole & filling it with water.

Ouch, my back hurts...

I'll be there. I've got my new toys have arrived so it had better be dark so that I can test them out.

Yep, I'm coming out tomorrow (in the 'going on a bike ride' manner of speaking ;-) )

sunset is 7.21pm, but in the shadow of Baildon hill, it'll be dark well before that!

I'm thinking of recharging my Smarts overnight tonight, but do I need to run them down first?

I should be there. I handed my notice in at work today so no more trips to London for me! Woohoo!

Respect Mike

It's not everybody who would give up their job to ensure they could come on these rides!

lol!
John - depends on what type of battery you have...
Lead acid is OK to charge from half empty. Generally for other types you should run them until they are *almost* dead then charge them all the way up.

Lead acid. didn't charge them though, I should have enough for tonight, & there's always the little blue LEDs if I do run out.

Mike - drastic!
