any mountain bikers out there? looking to ride Tuesday & Thursday evenings, except when I'm either (a) commuting on my road bike, (b) dodging the weather or (c) playing drums
I'm in for some riding Tuesday and Thursday. been meaning to get out with you guys for a while, but not quite been up to it! I may be overweight and a bit slow, but I'm working on it.
sorry folks, I thought I'd post something witty & clever rather than a picture of a tumbleweed . Turns out it was only half of one (half-wit, geddit?) & nothing of the other
I was hoping somebody new would offer to lead something - it's great that we have people like Rob, Ric, Jules, Sam & Dave (to name but a few) who are happy to lead rides , but I think it's a bit unfair of us to expect the same few people to lead week after week after week.
I can't make any rides this week or next due to (a) commuting the 26 miles back to Barnsley tomorrow morning, and (b) being on call from Thursday pm through to Friday next week
Maybe the week after that, I might be able to lead something around Baildon, Shipley, Guiseley kind of area
anyway, we've been here before. As they say on BSG, "all of this has happened before, and all of this will happen again".
Anyone fancy joining up with Bad Brains for a Morley Tuesday Pootle ride some time? It's not that far away, not as far as, say, Newmillerdam or Walton.
another disappearing message, will probably reappear later.
anyway, that's what I meant, too, Ric. I have a strong sense of deja vu about this topic...

On the subject of new trails, anyone fancy a Morley ride with Bad Brains some time? Morley's not that far away, compared to Newmillerdam, Walton, Crofton, Heath, etc.
I would not mind a ride with the Bad Brains as I live in Drighlington and Morley is just round the corner. Having said that i can not make this Tuesday, so not really sure where that leaves things...........?
