That was the mist Ben!!! during the run down Greengore on the flat out section I might as well have had my eyes shut there was SO much spray off my front wheel & then I hit the mist pockets when I came out of the trees - entertaining.

Me & Gaz took the scenic route home from the pub ie over the suspension bridge. The river was very full & we rode the last 4 miles without lights. Also it was very eerie with the mist rolling off the fields under the light of the moon.

Have to say one of the best night rides of the year.

G

PS I'm up for a change of scenery next week. Settle? Clapham? Abbey?

Ben,the bike specific dx light is a good 'un.

On last Weds night ride up Rivi,2 of the Boggies lads were using them,& they were way brighter than my setup,in fact i'd say they are easily as bright as the Hope 4,if not brighter.

no worries , did it this morning many sections seemed less slippy than of late but it could be down to the swampthing tyres , the section of trail on the right  of the fire road after the staircase is shut again after we spent today re modeling it, but the rock chute at the end of it by the concrete bridge is rideable if you come at it from the bridge end

Good ride tonight, windy up at the tower but good fun nonetheless. Even a comedy moment with both of us getting punctures at the same time ^_^

A deeper than expected drainage channel covered in leaves, leaving us both deflated in the rear.
