Hola Karlos, How's life at your end? Gary and I are married now, so I have had to stop playing the field, ah-well!! We actually got off our large sphincters and did Dalby blue/red run last saturday. We held hands all the way round which caused the odd unfortunate collision or two, but oh, how we laughed! My real wife took my mighty Giant into the very lovely Minster Cycles this morning for some much needed maintenance, so I am stuffed for a week or so I reckon. Fondest regards from sunny Beverley, Ted (dead butch really)

Congratulations to you both, I hope you're very happy together, though I am sorry to hear that Gary is holding you back. Get well soon. Karlos.

Hello I live in Bradford and normally ride with the North Leeds group - but I work in York and wondered where you guys ride and when? As conceivably if its south of York I could come and join you one evening (assuming you're OK with that) and then drive home - the wife is usually asleep by the time I stagger in to drip mud on the carpet anyway so coming in from York as opposed to Leeds won't make much difference. So Where do you all ride and when? Would it be OK if I come and join you guys sometime? Thanks The Badger

karl i wont be on line for a couple of days so i will text you tomorrow about dalby on thursday
OKey dokey. Badger, the riding around here isn't really worth a trip from York to be honest, you're better off going a bit further to Dalby or something. Like we've just been discussing we may be going there on Thursday evening. Personally I'll ride anywhere, usually the Yorkshire Dales or Moors, sometimes the peaks. You're more than welcome to tag along, so keep looking in.
I guess it's about time I made a reappearance. As Dalby is out of bounds next weekend I may go out to the Peaks or Hebden Bridge on Saturday if anyone fancies it. Also the Winter ride schedule for the Cycos kicks off next Sunday. First ride is from Sutton to Hornsea (with cooked breakfast at Hornsea). Their rides are usually pretty good. Start at around 9 am from local villages and do a couple of hours. Usually a good turn out. If anyone wants copy of the ride schedule let me know.

Aye forward it to me please, sounds like summat the Missus could tag along on too.

Did that ride schedule arrive in a readable format? It was a real pain in the arse to send for some reason. Where's the Savage these days?
Yes I've just opened it up thanks. Savage is now racing in the Elite categories, XC an DH. Also lost his teeth recently, I noticed he kept quiet about that on here.
Ted lost his teeth last Christmas.......him and Brian 'll look like Cissy and Ada!
Very true oh wife of mine... All my teeth are now plastic. Getting shot of them was the best thing I ever did..... ( after marrying Gary of course!!) ps I know Dalby is shut saturday, but is it open on sunday?
Dunno, why not just ride out over yon' hills, from Hole of Horcum etc.... Me and the Missus had a good ride out yesterday, dusty trails on the Cleveland hills believe it or not! Some fantastic trails up there when they are rideable. Bless.
What happened to Brian's teeth then Karlos?
Not sure to be honest I forgot to ask him last time I spoke to him, I found out from my missus, they both work for the council see.
Teeth. Can't wait until I get a new one!
Just the one? not much of a crash then.
" work for the Council" Isn't that a contradiction in terms?
