I will be about on Wednesday night.

Did the Gorrick Trailtrax event at Brook on Sunday, then did a 1.5 hour easy ride with Louise in the afternoon, my legs still ache! Hope to be back to full strength by Wednesday...

Jay, you will be pleased to know that I have bought a new minipump. So if anybody punctures you should find it easier to blow their tyres up ;-)

Andy,
thanks for leading the ride, an excellent route as always - I think we all just about managed to keep up!

After my chain snapping I will adding a powerlink to the bits I carry with me, it would have been a long push home if it couldn't have been fixed.

Same time & place next week?

Thanks guys, perhaps the hills were not so much fun, and I'm not fit, I just know where most of the roots, logs, and bomb holes are..!! Should be good for next week. Jason, good luck for Sunday. Jay, if we do Swinley we will need to be there at 9am.

I'm okay for Wednesday.

If anyone can make it I plan to ride Swinley Forest next Saturday. Start at 9am from the Lookout Car Park and ride for about 3 hours. The place is stuffed full of singletrack.

Also, I'm planning a trip to Afan Argoed on Saturday 26th Feb, anyone want to come along?

Bonjour chaps!

Finally got around to joining this site :)

Great ride last Saturday (bit hairy on the fence-line tho!) and looking forward to tonights night ride :D It'll be the christening of my new lights- they're all charged up and ready to burn! Nothing flash mind you- they're the Electron set that someone mentioned at the end of the ride 2 weeks ago, with the bulb upgrades as recommended in the review section.

Aaaaaaanways, see you later...

Legs have recovered thankfully! Unfortunately I can't make it tonight but I'll be thinking of you as I dring pints of real ale whilst listening to a live band!

Cheers, Scott

I hadn't realised my preferred nickname was rejected, hence my previous post as Mark Whitehead 2. New nickname is almost as unoriginal I know, but it'll have to do for now...

Andy- I think I'll be up for Swinley on Saturday. Went over there a lot last year- great trails.

Will have to take a rain check on Sat 26th as I'm off skiing that day.

Scott- Out of interest is that a local pub? I'm in a band myself and always on the lookout for potential venues!

Cheers,

Mark
