OK guys, I doubt I'll be riding for the next couple of weeks or so because we're currently packing all our stuff in preparation for moving house the week after next.

As such I'm on the scrounge for some hired muscle on the day. The pay will be lousy and the working conditions horrific, but you won't go hungry!

 Apply HERE!!!!

I'm not expecting many applicants, if any,  but if you don't ask, you don't get.........

Sounds like you all had a good ride today.   I headed over to Swinley and Crowthorne, which was fun in the snow (and then sleet on the way back) I got back to the Old Guildford Road about 10:15 and rode some of the xc course didn't see any of you, then rode around Ash Ranges, when I came back to Tunnel Hill I saw your tyre tracks so I know you were out there somewhere.

I think Tunnel Hill was the muddiest I have seen it.  It looks like the 'logger' has reappeared as quite a few trails at the top of the hill had sticks across, the same trails as last time.   Not sure if it is related but there were MX tracks in the singletrack too.

Dave, thanks for the pub invite but I was in the middle of dinner with the In-Laws and I didn't get any approving looks when I suggested going out for a couple of hours.

Never mind Jason, I only wanted you to bring your shoes to the pub so that I could try them on

Well done on getting out though, it was a great effort from nearly everyone

Hi all, Went out to Ceasers Camp this am in the snow, briliant!! I took the dog for a good work out & the crazy animal went swimming???

Not a soul out there, bit 28 day ish??? I'll probably be making my way over to Tunnel Hill tomorrow to see what it looks like in the day light or if anyone has any better ideas??

Sounds like a good ride today, especially the Guiness and soup.

I had to do my duty, fall in line and visit some of my missuses friends in the morning (swapping easter eggs and all that) so never made it.

Did a loop round Ceasers on the tractor in the afternoon jsu so I coudl get the legs working and was amazed how boggy it was in places.

Maybe out Tuesday, but work may get in the way as it's the first day back.

Sounds like everyone one's been having fun in the snow

Sadly I've been stuck indoors painting and fitting a new front derailleur on my roadrat. But Louise and I are heading for Tunnel Hill tomorrow am - meeting at Potters at 9am for a couple of hours of moderate riding. All welcome to join, maybe see a few of you out.

It was a fun ride and a good finish in the pub for a beer and food..

Bazz sounds like you had a good ride to, same as Darren...  Tim sounds like Frith was muddy to Jason yer Tunnel Hill did seem to have a lot of mud on there yesturday.  We have had alot of rain the last week or so.  The muddy rides are just starting to get to me now, want spring to kick in and dryer weather to start.

Kathy sounds like you busy with painting but pick a better day to go riding today have a good ride with Louise..

Cas how the back mate that was some move you did on the Seesaw.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Right on to this Tuesday ride plan we are going to try a new meet point at Deep Cut Spar shop meet at 7.15pm. This is some we can ride bits Porridgepot and Frith Hill with out crossing Tunnel Hill.

Haha I didn't notice today being any less muddy than yesterday, managed to force myself to ride for about 4 hours but it was hard work - roll on summer, although the forecast looks grim for a while yet.

Kathy thanks for getting Lou out of the house so that I could call round on Jason and drink beer, oops, I mean try on shoes

Had a nice late afternoon ride around Ceasers Camp, bit wet in places, plenty of tyre tracks out there though, Cold and windy at the top looking out over Hampshire.

Pants - You may have crossed some tractor tyre marks on your way round.

Just think, they could have been yours if you had taken up the SS offer

How's the stand in bike? It looks nice with all those cog/gear things at the back.

Glad you managed to get a bike though while yours is being sorted.

Jay  -  the back is fine cheers.  Think I might go a bit more gently over the seesaw next time tho.

That was a fun ride on Sunday  -  shame not everyone could make it tho

Hope you all had a good one tonight, I thought I would go out for a ride to Swinley after work.  However halfway there my rear brake pads fell out... I had been messing around with them when I swapped wheels at the weekend and guess I hadn't put the clip back into the retaining pin   Anyway it makes a change for it to be my fault my brakes have failed!  So I headed home fitted a new retaining pin, and then found that air had got into the system,  so then had to bleed the brakes as well...   So after all that I just stayed local and headed over to Tunnel Hill for a bit, pleased to say that the trails are already drying out nicely.

Dave, sorry I didn't reply to your email, I was probably covered in brake fluid when you sent it.

Jason I'm not sure I want to know what you get up to in the privacy of your own garage...

Anyway, great laugh tonight, was feeling far more energetic than the last few days too, maybe it was Roland chatting me up that made the difference

One other thing - Jo, sort your car out!!!!
