yeah top course Si, needs a bit of light pruning of the undergrowth in the odd place, I should be able to help with that. I could do with the chain saw sometime so I can get the chain sharpened up.

Have to say that that is indeed a good course - plenty to keep people interested!

Unfortunately there's a huge cut in the sidewall of my tyre, which is why there was not much air in it.

So... some new tyres... CRC seem to be a bit short at the mo.  What's that place in Germany that does the Schwalbe tyres cheap?

Show/hide user stats

Is it actionsports?

Which Schwalbe tyres? I was thinking of some Racing Ralphs for the Alps.

Hi Tim,

You could try the Spec S-Works Sauser Wind, superlight and 2bliss (tubeless ready) maybe abit narrow for some, 1.8" had them on the Epic and loved them, Ave weight 480g, light for a tubeless tyre.

The Racing Ralph is a good light tyre as well though, as Dave stated.

Hope you all had a good ride, just recovering from a bout of sickness on Monday, something i ate, i assume.

Good luck Si!

Tim, the shop in Germany is called  Bike24 http://www.bike24.com, and another I've used is Hibike http://www2.hibike.de/main.php both did good deals on the tyres you're after but the euro is stronger now so it may not be the case any longer.

Yes, the strong Euro is killing everything at the mo including watches

The Spec tyres are £20 each, cheaper than the Schwalbe even from Germany.

Cheers all, enjoyed last night. The odd panic-moment was made up for by getting down that drop-off. I'll just have to do it again next time now!
