It is no problem if you need a lift, I will have to check on Wednesday that your bike fits ok on my rack - some full suss bikes can be a bit awkward to clamp.
Hopefully see you all Wednesday, providing I get home on time.

 Okay, I guess that's it for the Leith Hill ride. Saturday suits me. I'll ask the Swinley guys if they want to come along as well. I'll mail a map of the meet point to Jay today. We'll talk it over on Wednesday, I will also have space for a couple of bikes.

 Unfortunately my wife must have been watching too much of Mr Miagi from Karate Kid! Last weekend it was a whole day of wax on wax off and this weekend it is paint the fence. Well at least I'll be a hard as nails martial arts geezer by the end of it all?!
Hope you have a good one. I'm off to Germany and the US next week with work so I'll be signing off until the middle of May. If anyone wants to keep a neurotic pregnant woman company during this time I can give you my wife's phone number?

only minimal staff on a saturday but out tomorow . i cant get my battery bracket to fit new bike so riding with one light but should be o.k

Jason no prob give it a go if not I put it on the back of the MR2 as I think it looks funny!! Good luck on getting back as I think we are going to have a good group of us, with rich new NEW bike!! Git!!

Yep, I rode the South Downs Way in a day last week, rode it the other way the day after, and then cycled home...;-). I have not ridden the bike since the 5th of March so I'm already struggling to keep up.
For Saturday I'm picking up Jason (from the Swinley guys). I could get two more bikes on the car, 2 on the roof and two on the rack (have to take the wheels off for the rack)
Why do people keep buying new bikes?? That’s three this year already...!

Jay, tell Gayle to put the resus on hold. I forgot to put my lights on to charege before I left for work this morning so unless we have a full moon and I up the carrot intake I wont be able to join you!

If you think a bike looks funny on the back of the MR2, there are some pictures floating about of a Westfield with a bike rack fitted to the top of the roll cage, certainly looks a bit strange...

Thanks for the ride tonight, nice to have a decent size group out, not sure about all the sprints at the end - my legs are like jelly now!

ps Jay & Mark thanks for the invite to the car meet on the 3rd, unfortunately I am pre-entered into a race for that day, but if you have any others planned in the future let me know and I will try and bring the Westy along.

Yeah, Jay thanks for leading the ride tonight, I made it 2hrs 35mins and the bike is almost clean...!
Phil is coming on Saturday as well so Mr R can race him instead of us slugs. I will be at Jay's house for around 09:10 Saturday morning.
