Cheers all for a good ride last night, thanks for letting me sweep for a while.

Pants, never saw any trace of you, are you sure you were out? We need the army to sort out the landslip, can you sort it please.

Another top ride, thanks for the port Neil. We even let Dave lead at one point, I just love his trail descriptions....."right, err...well we can do that up bit, and then go and do that nasty up bit....and err...that other hill".....

We ran into another group tonight calling themselves the Porkpies or something like that.

Yes the Porkpies were very friendly, we spoke to them and they just stared straight ahead in silence.

You loved that section Andy, down a steep bit with the brakes locked full on, and then back up a loose rooty climb. Exactly how every trail should be.

Thanks for leading Andy, great ride!  There are some wicked trails out through there.  Only the 3 of us tonight!

How was the sofa and beer Jay?

Pants where were you?

PS.  Andy it was Whisky Mac (whisky and ginger wine)

I'm off to bed.

Ha, I though it was port...! but I was sucking air in so fast tonight trying to keep up with Dave's hill work out I've lost any senses I had.

Yeah Dave they were a quiet bunch, maybe they were eating Porkpies at the time

Well the super-fast flat bits over Tweseldown weren't too much fun either, watching you two vanish into the distance on something a bit higher than 34:18

Sounds like a good ride, should of gone really...   Beer is good, still got some front tires on the car to ..

Neil that new bike is nice very nice...

Was that your car i heard squealing Jay?  I thought i heard something like you tearing around the roundabout as we set off.  We're you having fun in the tank?

Dave,  Andy's right, it's the only time we can get away from you, on the long decents,  you should stick a 24 on the front to give us a bit more on you.

Thoroughly enjoyed that last night, nice to go somewhere different.

Dave are you riding tonight?  six nights on the trot!  or should i say bike!

I think we should rename the Pork pies as "Pigs might Fly"  nice bunch of chaps anyway

Just a reminder for the Chilterns ride next Saturday 19th April, it will also be a Santa Cruz Convention but any bike will do!   A fantastic route from Singletrack mag and led by Cas, I will be acting as sweeper for myself!  Some really good descents but you do have to earn them.  All followed off by beverages in the local hostelry.

Details will be posted up on the THT site over the weekend.  Hope to see you there and it will be nice to meet some new faces.

Just to echo the above, it's a really nice route through some lovely countryside and with excellent views.

Hope you can make it and that I don't get us lost...

Neil yep that was me hehehe you could hear me then...

Elaine not long now to the ride..  Cas you ready to lead us trolls around

Show/hide user stats

Yeah, I'll give it a go

Now, where did I leave that map...

Hi Elaine, Cas,

Count me in for next Saturday at the Chilterns, sounds great!

Not meet you yet Elaine but heard plenty about you.  All good you'll be pleased to know.  My local bike shop, Mountain Trax, has a mechanic called Dean, he mentioned you.  I look forward to the pleasure.

As for you Cas,   lets ave it!!  PS. What were you knitting?

Jay,  yes we heard you, i even said at the time "Was that Jay"!

Hi Neil.  What do you mean "you've heard plenty about me"??!!

Dean looks after my bikes for me, takes parts off, puts them on another, builds up a singlespeed, then puts gears back on, takes parts off cos I want pimpy.  All with a smile!!  Yeah, I'm just your typical woman, not!!

Look forward to meeting you too and your friends are more than welcome.  There could be quite a turnout but I will catch up with everyone in the pub afterwards.  My climbing legs have disappeared so I will be sweeping myself!

Please, no more talk of knitting!
