The incidents that 'don't' get into our press would boggle your mind.

the thing ive found out with ANY press group is that it tends to play on the audience it wants.

this isnt to say they are right or wrong all the time but it just makes it almost impossible to sift the shit from the truth.

Back to the subject. We did the same thing in Afghanistan in 2002 and British troops are still there and the yanks are still getting slotted by the Afghani's. People have forgotten about it 'cos it's not on the news anymore. Just as much money can be made from owning the opium crop as owning the oil fields. In 2002 we put the torch to loads of the opium crop but all we do now is keep an eye on it.
Judging from this performance i'd say we (as in the British) won't be out of I-raq for a while as we have to now put right all the shit we did wrong. Look what a good job WE did rebuilding Germany after WW2.........
