fairy nuff really dave - better than a poke in the eye aint it?!
so peeps, has anyone any good ideas about where they'd like to ride for the wales thing?
Once we have a rough idea we could look at hotels /bunk houses in the area.
Also, we need a roll call!
Dave - maybe? Si - one day sin and paul -one day me - two days andy - two days den - two days but is staying over? Dyl- you coming definatly? Dean - you fancy some xc mincing with us? Jim- you coming? Moo and co - anyone contacted them? Jon or henry??

If you wanted something that you've not done before then Brechfa looks good, there is a 15m Black Raven and 15m red Gorlech trail at same place, Cwm Rhaeader is not far away for playing about. Coed Tralllwm is in the area with short, 5k red or black loops. Sure you could come up with two days riding there.

They look interesting Si. How's that for you though - South Wales is going to be a long drive down isn't it? AA route finder reckons nearly a five hour drive
 eek...is it that far !
Indeed it is! As usual I don't have much preference - happy to do north Wales instead if need be. Sin and Paul won't want a mahoosive long drive either I wouldn't have thought...
nah your right, its too far.
Yeah, when me and Den went to do skyline, I set off at 6am and got home gone midnight! How about caeder idris (sp?) one day, then other day penmachno loop one followed by a nip down to clymachx to do a couple of runs on the last descent??
I'm up for coming over to either North or South Wales for one of the days. Brechfa would be a bit too far for the day though. Afan great fun. Also enjoyed Penmachno. Where is Caeder idris?
Caeder idris is about 3-4 miles (as the crow flies) south west of coed-y-brenin, its a mountain that starts off like snowdon then finishes in natural singletrack. I'd personally be quite happy doing a day at cyb, though that's not exactly suprising!
Caeder Idris sounds cool, got a link to the loop Andy ? Its a classic MTB route isnt it ?
Ummm... MBR did a feature on it t'other month, tis all I know!
that one and cyb would suit me tbh!
Hi jim, nice to hear from you mate - you're more than welcome to stay a night or two and join us for a few beers as well as riding, should you fancy it?
Thats probably Best Dan, there both down that way. Those lodges near CYB that I stopped at with Paul / Sin and Rob are pretty cheep btw, when there are 5/6 sharing and out of season. Cadair View the people who run the cabins ride too, there very flexible about 1 or 2 night rental, if there is space they will rent, I think there talking £240 for 2 nights for one that sleeps six = £40 for two nights PP. And you can ride into CYB from the cabins.
Sounds reasonable, can we muster six though?? I must text moo...
give um a ring Andy, as I say, I think they do one night deals in which case 120 / whoever is a bargin... best bit is you can ride into CYB from there.
looks good! Andy, is Den planning to stay over for one or both nights?
Dave, wot bout you mate?
 aye, when is it again?
