 i cant make the saturday now, may do the sunday whatever you do. how was Peak yesterday Andy ? I've actually not done a Peak ride for ages, so quite fancy one soon.

 The peakS  were fine, rather slimey on beast, and the mud through wiseman hey was super slimey as usual, has silted up a lot too, the mud continues over most of the singletrack now too! Apart from that, business as usual out there. Lol @ Dan re: Dylan! Either weekend ok with me, what about everyone else??

Yeah, last minute jobbie as wales was dropped, didn't text you Si as you said you couldn't ride, no point making my thumb ache if I don't have to! Its good there but very very short indeed, couple of laps takes less than two hours! Really dicey in the wet, especially with a 60 compound on the back, should've stuck the nevegal back on, nbx couldn't cope. Its like a microscopic cyb/glentress red mix-up with cartoon-esque huge vertical berms and a touch of stainburn on the black bits.

Aftnoon all Dyl ; if you're out there do you know of where I can get 18650 batteries and a charger from in UK, quickly?? I order my Deal Extreme lightset and an 801 I think it was spot-torch thing for my lid. However, I forgot to order batteries and charger for the spot.... fcukin st00pid of me! so.. my light set for the bars should arrive this week ... so I need some batteries and charger for the spot asap!!! ta

they've not yet arrived si - website says that they were dispatched a few days ok so hoping they'll turn up this week! We'll see. . . Cheers for letting me know . . . If they do arrive it'd be good to get out!

Im probably going to ride in the NYM this Saturday Andy (weather pending), not sure if I can be doing with the slog to Wales for one days ride. Will make a note of 5th, havent done a Peaks ride in ages and we always used to do a Pre-xmas get together. ta

50mph winds... 7.8mm of rain per hour... A forest maybe good, trail centre etc, but moors and hills are going to be miserable. Sunday looks better, are you still heading to Wales ?

Yeah we're thinking of I think CYB on Saturday with Den and Andy (maybe Dave?) , Andy and I staying over and then riding Penmachno or that mountain on Sunday with Den again and possibly Dyl..

Better to be in the forest on Saturday, sos I'm not going to come over.. its a long drive to CYB for one day, and I'm just not as enthusiastic as I used to be for one day rides in Wales given it takes almost 3 hours from my house. NYM is 1:30 from home (being on the North side of Sheffield)... all that said, if the forecast stays as is, I'm not going to ride this weekend.. nesh I know ! Have a good un.

indeed, tis a fair old drive! We were originally going to drive there on friday night and stay over but seeing as there's just the two of us staying over and that I'm pretty skint (as usual) I think one night would be better... ...my bloomin lights still haven't turned up
