Dave I. - Kinetics Stick E purchased for Mr & Mrs J. Oh, and Nuffa has fallen for the Spesh and is gonna make an honest bike of it
Ha ha nice one Mr & Mrs J you won't regret it And well done to Nuffa for entering the world of full bounce , he won't regret it!!!! HIGH CUP NICK Ally it's a bit far in advance TBH how about next weekend?? I have a nice route that would take us across to Carrigill and then back up to Greggs Hut and either up and over Cross Fell and down Wild Boar Scar or descend down to Kirkland, both round the 30 mile mark with just short of 5000ft of ascent.

Brrrrr that was a cold one. Good ride around mabie tonight. Managed to ride it and finish in one piece, thank god. The dusty trails are really alien to me. Just not used to it at all. Pretty good pace as well

I have a nice little pootle mapped out for this week if you fancy it Andrew, it involves Latrigg, Skiddaw House, Mosedale and the Old Coach Road. I'll let you fathom it out on Memory Map!!! Shim is on about meeting on Tuesday evening.

I have done that loop a couple times Dave. It works out about 31mls if i remember and its a lovely loop. Will check my workload for next week
Must be a different loop Andrew as this one is only 24. From Mosedale it heads back to the A66 and Troutbeck before heading up the Old Coach Road and back down to Threlkeld.

Any room for 10 under at kirry? I would be keen on this
I dont think anyone has entered yet Arnold. Although i would be keen as its a great event. John, the reason you have a is because its great fun. Cant understand the people that diss it. How dusty is it atm though. I just cant get any rythm on the big descent all the way down to the burn splash for some reason
We could go as a pair
dave i - route sounds good, but do we have to do 5000 feet climbing !
Ally We can either do a there and back route of around 17 miles and 2700ft or a real big day in the hills taking in not only High Cup Nick but also the highest point in the Pennines Cross Fell which would make it 30+ miles and 5000 ft, it's upto you. If you think the Howgills loop is 4000 so the big loop is not that much more
