Aye, gaan up High Cup Nick after 20miles is easy Great loop though
Dave - its a long drive for just 17 miles, so i wont be a puff, we'll go for the full 30......you and your bloody climbing ! Wheres the start point ? Meet about 10.00 ?
poor excuse for a weekends riding this week, this mornings Dales ride didnt materialise for family reasons (!!), so ive had to make do with 15 miles road this evening, what a shitter with the weekend we've had.

Meet at Dufton, there's a small car park with toilets in the middle of the village. How far is it for you Ally? As a 9.00am meet would be better, it's quite a big ride!!! Andrew I'm going to cheat and do High Cup Nick first which means that the climb out of Garrigill kicks at about 20 miles How are you fixed for Tuesday evening?
Looking ok atm Dave. Will confirm tomorrow when i check work diary. I think i would prefer the garrigill climb at 20ms myself Dave. Much less aggressive climb, just long.
Yes that's true but it is 7 miles and unrelenting, I suppose they are both tough but the day we did it mid ride I seem to remember climbing it not too bad it was that bloody awful double track after Cow Green that got me.
Hello? Hobo, any thoughts on 10 under
dave, its a 2 hr drive for me, 9.00 is ok, dont mind an early start though, not sure i like the sound of a 7 mile climb though !!
Don't worry about the climbs Ally they aren't that bad.
climbs are only descents waiting to happen.
unless you actually prefer climbs.... like what I do.
you're all mental, climbs are the work of the devil.
Mr Johnston I hope you are resting and carbing up ready for the weekend??
Good ride today. Whinlatter is now worthy of being classed as a ride now at 17mls Reckon it could be extended even durther with the addition of seldom seen to make it even better. BUT i cant fathom out how that trail is sooo slippy. Me & shim both had issues staying on the trail because it was so slippy
What are you riding these days hobo?
Hi Pete. Still got the Pipedream. Absolutely love it and cant see me getting rid before it wears out. Even has a few bits of bling on it these days Once we get the cycle to work scheme sorted i will have to decide between a road bike or a new full suss. Kinda miss full suss riding and every biker should have the choice, shouldnt they? I see from facebook you have been polishing the Prince Albert and enjoying a few sherberts in Dublin Regarding Ten Under, well i cant really make my mind up. Would be great fun. I will check things out and come back to you. All calm on the personal front i take it. Dodgy couple of years from what i saw

Pedals arrived yesterday Shimano 520 spd's with cleats for £20 posted. Cant complain at all. Hope they are as good as the time aliums. They feel a little lighter as well
Good ride yesterday Andrew, feel like an old man today I am aching head to toe.
I think Carl recommends Cod Liver Oil. Maybe John H can advise you on such matters, i have no experience. Looks like i can do a lakes ride tomorrow if anyone is around (Bike in van and 3 appts to do) Also i will be in Dumfries on Friday evening
That's a pity I'm in Dumfries tomorrow with our final interviewee at 5ish so was gonna ask if you fancy meeting up there somewhere, possibly Ae 6-6.30
Sods law that isnt it. Have now arranged to meet Andy Ecc at WHinlatter to ride. Although i bet if he finds out you are in dumf he will drop me like a stone eh Pedals and cleats fitted. Quite comfortable with the clipping feeling compared to the time aliums. We will dee. Nice to get rid of that infernal rattle
