I quite fancy a go at that Kielder event - it does sound a bloody long way though.

No riding for me for a couple of weeks. Off to France tomorrow. Not allowed to take a bike with me. Could somebody please arrange some nice weather for when I get back?

enjoy your holiday Andy.

On another note any one riding Sunday?

Cleaned my bike today so i suppose its only right to get it dirty tomorrow.  If anyone fancies an evening ride around Whinlatter i would be up for it

Dave..is Hamsterley worth a drive down? How long will it take from Dumfries? Big stw meet on 12th. Happy to come down Reeth/Hawes/Settle way for a ride. Will have another possible Hobo newbie, Paul, with me if he can get away all day. Otherwise have a couple of hiil rides up here planned depending on weather.

AndyEcc..Have a nice holiday, make sure your bikes are well secured this time.

Will be doing some cycle skills training with one of your colleagues Clare soon. I`m off on hols from 17th also for 2weeks.

Hobo...nice ambulance pics, put em up here.

Working today, no biking again this week.

Hello all. Blimey, it's been quiet in here lately.

Not been away myself since that weekend in the Lakes, but the local trails down here have been pretty dry for the last few weeks so I've been getting in some cheeky early morning rides before work

Anyone planned anything for weekend 18/19th? I'm coming up with Mo, so will try to fit in a ride at some point.

what msmit says

was down Whinlatter today with an 8yr old and his mum. He managed the south side and the blue with just a few dabs here`n there. Tough wee guy. Orange were having a dealer demo day. New P7 looked nice in white with bolt on rear drop outs.

Rode Ae on Tues with a guy from work who is from Teeside and rides Hamsterly, reckoned Ae was the best biking he`d ever done. So I`m giving Hamsterly a miss this weekend and if it stays dry heading up Durisdeer on Sunday.

Looks like the Kirry 10 has something in the order of 450 entrants.

John Hamsterley is okay for a night pootle but really not worth the trip down considderring you have to pass to get here, why do you think we head west??

I'm still up for Sunday but was maybe thinking the Bash and then Whinlatter!!

Or Dalbeattie + another.

Ello, I am in the Dales first week in August. I may pop over for a Lakes ride if anyone cares to show me a good time?

I will be staying near Grassington, right next to the start of some great trails

Sorry Karlos, i will not be putting any routes together for you, but I may well join in on a ride.

10 at Kirry went well yesterday 8 laps in 10hrs and three minutes, had a half hour stop on the fourth lap for a bit of pasta and a stretch, so not too bad.

Mike have you made any plans for the weekend? I may well be able to do something Saturday, Dumfries area?
