Hi Davey, Neil enjoyed it and did it in 7hrs40 or so iirc - I think he said the pros do that stage in 5hrs something. I may have got that completely wrong though :/

Has that adapter turned up yet?

Any plans for the weekend?

I think I will be riding whinlatter at a steady pace tomorrow night with one of my new to biking friends. Will let you know what time when I find out.

I will also be heading out for a decent ride from my house on Sunday if anyone fancies it, route and time to be confirmed.

Possible road ride tomorrow morning? Barry are you feeling up to much???

Ah Saintly, ygm.....well a message thingy...don't go too mad on the that road ride tomorrow.

You should be 'tapering' now.

How late will the night ride be saintly?

If anyone is interested in a CHEAP method of keeping your external BB running i have just serviced mine for the grand sum of £5   New bearings that i have repacked with decent grease and they also fit the plastic tophats so they wont damage the cranks.  Took me all of 10mins to change the bearings

Tapering!!!!! that sounds a bit serious. ygm too.

Hoping to be at the car park at the end of the blue for 8ish, if anyone's up for a semi night ride.

Fantastic ride with Steve W in the Peaks yesterday.

Including Roman road from Hope (up and down), the Beast, Hagg Farm, Lockerbrook.

Pretty wet but a great ride and really good to catch up with Steve again.

greetings from mallorca, weather has been fecking great wall 2 wall sun all week, mind u that bomb was a bit close for comfort!!!! Anyone fancy anything next friday or saturday?
Show/hide user stats

Aye up Dave, I thought you were out that way when i heard about the bomb on the news, not nice!! Glad to hear your enjoying some good weather though, must be nice to see the sunshine.

Been out for a very wet ride over loadpot tonight, Bampton side up to trig point, one dab

I might be up for something on the Saturday, let me know your plans when you get back.

Davey, good to hear you've ben enjoying the peaks, its been too long since i rode over there, is Mr Waters on form?

Whinlatter ride was horrendously wet last night, North loop is cutting up pretty bad in the trees, can't be easy maintaing a route like that with all the water that washes over it.

Before we set off on the ride, some community police offers pulled in to check the car parks, apparently been a lot of bike thefts and car break ins up there over recent weeks, just to forewarn you.

kako se imas Saintly, Dave & co.

I`m back from my hols, complete with a fair bit of balast induced by big breakfasts, lots of cake, 4/5 course dinners and lashings of Lasko

Managed a pootle round Ae in 1hr 40min this morning tho.

Back to the grind(if anything is grinding)tomorrow. Night shift Fri so no biking on Sat. Got a run of weekend working coming up so looks like some time in Sept before I can get a weekend ride with you guys.

Barry ....which Carlisle school does your wife work in?

btw...anyone got or know of any family sized tents going cheap? Son was intending buying one but his washing machine packed in so had to re-prioritise his spending.

A course for BN

Sounds like a perfect holiday John.

`twas. Bit hot at times 33+ most days in Croatia. Dropped to around 30 when we transferred up into Slovenian mountains. Much fresher air up in the mountains made heat more bearable.

Managed a bit of biking to blow the cobwebs away. Mabie on Sun and Ae this morning.
