Dave - Yep, Kate and I signed up for GMBC, so has Nuffa.

Had great fun at SITS this weekend with Mark, Benji and Alex from Singletrack.

Aye up chaps, long time no see. I might be coming up to the Lakes for a few days soon, don't suppose any of you could email me some classic routes? Memory map would be nice??

Do you fancy a weekend jobby again? I could quite fancy taking a days holiday on the Monday so we could have a few beers on the Sunday night and then do a loop on the Monday before heading off!!!

Cheers Dave, it's not deffo yet but I am thinking of coming over to the Lakes as I have four days off work in a couple of weeks. I have a few ideas for places to go (another being the Scotland) but am undecided yet, wherever I go I will be camping. Even if I don't come over to the Lakes this month I would still like some routes as I will be getting over there some time soon.

Getting established in my new (temporary) job in Bracknell after a few months of bleak redundancy. Swinley Forest is (literally) on my doorstep and I have been out on my own a few times. Hopefully, will be meeting up with a local group tomorrow night to be guided round the bewildering array of tracks and hopefully a few jumpy things.

Because of the above, I can now lurk again on this forum without feeling too envious of you all!

Still missing the Peak, of course. Great seeing Davey and Kate there the other other day.

glad to hear you've found yourself gainful employment again - are you down south all the time, or just weekdays?

I've ridden Swinley just once before - it was a miserable day but enjoyable. I doubt we found all the trails though. Should be able to organise a trip over one weekend if you're there.

You're welcome to come over here and sample the delights of Epping as well - best after a dry spell (though it does dry out very quick atm). Can put you up if you want to make a weekend of it too.

Must get my GMBC application in Dave, Davey, Kate (and Nuffa?) you still planning on camping over the weekend?

Planning on coming up for a weekend Stanes/Lakes riding soon too ... all welcome to stay at mine - probably either 22/23 or 29/30 (bank holiday) weekends. Give us a shout if you definitely can/can't make either weekend but want to and I'll plan accordingly.
