Whats the green route like?

Easy peesy, kids stuff

Guess it is just an easy time management thing rather than an out & out ride for letting peeps test the lights, make adjustments etc. Last thing you want to do is take newbies out on trail proper in the dark!!!

I have Tuesday off Ally.  Unfortunately i will be looking after my little lad.  I think were watching Fantastic Mr Fox at the flicks

Andrew are you ok for thursday this week instead of Wednesday. Becky is away from Thursday so if I ride Wednesday it means I won't see the kids from Tuesday. Could do Drum if you fancy?

Ally can you give me an idea of time? I have to drop the missus off at work for 9 but can be at whinlatter for around 10 if that suits?

John, Kirry tomorrow is going to be a non starter, no transport being the major problem, followed by not trying to spend a lot, else public transport might have been an option. I also need to go and see a solicitor about my ex employers. Your route yesterday sounded like a good one, although the weather definitely could have been better.

Thursday is fine with me Dave.  Do you think you can find your way around in the dark?  I struggle in the daylight

"Your route yesterday sounded like a good one, although the weather definitely could have been better."......hahahahaha

Hope you get your probs sorted Simon.

Yep your on Ally, let me know where you want to meet, main car park or the one just before the vistor centre on the left. Will be in a silver Suzuki with a yeti on top.

Thanks John, its more a principle thing than anything but they have pushed me a little too far.

Got a call from Joanne earlier.

I am stuck in the doctors car park Andrew

WHy are you stuck?  (Thought the car had broken down or something)

A car has just pulled up and blocked the entrance

Well ask them to move it

Three blokes got out of the car and strarted attacking another guy in another parked car.

Now they are chasing him around the car park and hitting him and his car with a hammer.  His girlfirend/wife is trying to help him

Now they have gone into the doctors and are chasing him in there.

Told her to call the police and stay put in the car.  She had the two kids in with her

Seemingly three police vans pulled up as the culprits ran out of the doctors surgery chased by a (Brave) receptionist.

didnt realise you lived in Keighley Andrew ?

I know we have some 'choice' areas locally but you dont get this sort of thing very often.

Doesn't sound very good Simon, do you mean the ones you are with now or the ones prior?

 Upperby by any chance Andrew?

I am currently unemployed Dave, or between contracts. I got the job at Jenkinsons that I was talking about when I saw you at Grizedale, but  when my most recent employers found out they spat the dummy and kicked me out of the office. It would appear after today's meeting that due to the fact I have not worked for them for a year or more I don't have the right to appeal against unfair dismissal. They have also been making some very spurious accusations to ex clients of mine notifying them that they dismissed me due to performance issues, if this continues I could go for defamation of character, although I think I am best to move on and let them sink their own business, life's too short.

The upside is I was meant to be starting with Jenks in January but due to the circumstances they have brought my start date forward to the 9th of November. That leaves me just enough time to get a bit of biking in and do some of the odd jobs round the house.

Ah nice one at least it's worked out for you.

On the legal front up to 12 months and unsuitable is all that's required, however there still should be a process that has been followed, but it's wether you can be arsed or not . IMO you are right to just move on and let them get on with it, remember what goes around comes around and at some point you will have the last laugh!!!!

Good of Jenks to bring the start date foeward for you, it's not what you know but whom in this life

" Upperby by any chance Andrew?"... nowt wrong wi Upperby that my daughetr can`t fixnow that she is teaching at the junior school. Having fun with social workers, occ health, police etc. She is on a mission

I had a massive bust up with my previous employer 4 days before i had completed the 12mths.  I took advice and he said to swallow my pride for them 4 days as it makes a massive difference t your rights.

In the end you know how things worked out and tbh they didnt follow a single process dave mentioned.  I just decided that what goes around comes around.  They got sold recently to another company so i presume that i have been doing my bit by taking sales off them for the last 12mths

Dont get all bitter about things, just move on and let them fester in their own rubbish

Your absolutely right, thanks guys, its all karma, no point in looking back when I have a career at jenks to think about.

"it's not what you know but whom in this life" I like to think its a bit of both.

Good ride today with Ally, whinlatter was its usual wet slippy self, but no offs and lots of fun made it a good one. Good to meet you Ally.
