Sounds good hobo I am keen to have a look at it no harm in that is there.lol

Majik have a look at www.therush.uk.com Tony's the main guy from their and very helpful. Jedburgh is almost in your neck of the woods well north east anyhow.

Yes bar mounts and helmet are the best idea but have managed to do newcastleton with just a helmet and just bar mount. See how you get on with the one then you can upgrade later.

The guy at the rush also lets you go out and test them so he is definately worth a call.

Majik, there were 15 out on wednesday. Was weird watching all the lights dancing about in the forest.

Saintly is right the rush is fantastic.

Your welcome anytime majik. We have spoken to Tony and he is opening the shop late on tuesdays soon and as simon says they let you test lights.

Do a ride and go for a nice tea & cake after. I promise i dont have these periods all the time ;-)

Majik I think I remember you saying you were around gateshead. Newcastleton would mean you driving the A69 to Hexham then up to Bellingham and across to Newcastleton or a variation on that.

Its quite a trek cos of the small A roads but something to think about.

Hmmmm, that would be good if a little dangerous with the wet rocks. Its a much nicer section in the dry. I'm up for it though!!!!

I think gareth still has nightmares about that section on the high street ride on the hottest day of the year.

Once we get next week out of the way (I am still up for either Glentress or kirroughtree next weekend) maybe the next nightride could be somewhere natural. Skiddaw round would be ace and i am pretty confident on that one.

I will just about tag along to anything remotely do-able I trust you guys to not over tax me. This is based on the fact that you are tolerant of newbies, sympathetic to post op patients and exceedingly inspiring for night ride virgins.

In light of what is going on elswhere on the forum I can't believe how lucky I am to have found such an accomodating bunch of riders as you guys.

Thanks.
