Plus I have to justify buying all these new bits and if that means riding my bike even more then bring it on.

How was the circus?

Did you manage to sell you kids!!

Hi there everyone!

I have emailed both majik & sinead.

Saintly, have managed to get week on sunday (16/10/05) off so will be up for glentress that day :-) Anyone else welcome.

Next wednesdays ride is looking busy cos carl says he might be trying his new head torch as well. I have invited Gareth (Phatmiester) along and offered him the use of my headtorch so i cant lend you it unless he bails Dave. Maybe Barry has a spare set, i will ask him tomorrow.

David was probably the fittest on the 3stanes day so he can just manage without light ;-)

Sheesh, calm down with yer riding simon, yer gonna give yerself a hernia......

I might bring a generator and a couple of 1000W Halogens from work - Any one got a trailer :o))

Nah I'm just pushing the lifetime guarantee the surgeon put on my first repair.lol

No lion for me in the morning either if I am gonna be at hobo's for 7.30
Show/hide user stats
Glentress I can't wait.

That will just leave inners and kirroughtree to do. Then we can have a go at doing them in 24hrs yay!!!
Show/hide user stats
Having done 3 in 12hrs i know how insane that would be mate.

Just stripped the liquid down to just the frame. Havent a clue how it goes back together :-/

Show/hide user stats
Yeah but its got to be worth a try at some point soon just for fun obviously!!

disassembled Skinny 3 thats terrible.

Vodka always helps me think straight could try that before you put it back together.
Show/hide user stats
Anyhow need to get to bed seeing as I am up in less than 8 hours,

see you in the morning!!
Show/hide user stats
Skinny 3???

KINNY 3

My nickname and lucky number. Have played football in that number and ridden with that number for over 22 years and never broke a bone. It works for me.

Makes it sound like a spaceship for gods sake ;-)

See ya later

It was meant to sound like jonny five.

I forgot it was Kinny.
I never got any email hobo? where did you send it to? :(

OMG look at all the drivle I have missed not checking this thread :D lol j/k btw - wouldn't want to upset TLH during one of his 'man periods' bahaha >8oD

Bloody good fun today chaps! 1:20 ride time on Tha Red including The Ridge section isnae too bad I tell thee :) Barry was stripping more than the lassies at Whitley Bay rofl. We were also granted with 'Golden Knackers' presence- Beckham aka TLH as he'd forgot his shoes, so rode with white gym slips (with wee gold flashes on them) which remained imacculate while the rest of us look like we jumped head furst intae a midden lmao. Apparently the technique involves resting his ankles on the bar grips on encountering yon nasty muddy stuff ;|

I do however feel sorry for other MTB'ers that could not gain access to Mabie car after TLH parked(abandoned) 'Tha Van of Doom from Hades'. The fact it now has coilover suspension, semi-slicks and full rollcage posed no probs on the potholed surface, although the front Veilside splitter was close LOOL.

Saintly and I made sure Barry and TLH weren't atacked from behind by any dis-gruntled Dianese-clad Yetis after said dude's armour comments bahaha. I did of course take time out occasionaly to 'liven up' TLH's hardtail downhilling experience. HAAARRR! lol

The coffee and Choccy Muffin at the end at the Shed makes all the diference to!

mmmmmm...choclate..glaaagghhh!

Thanks for ride out, my legs are buzzin.
Smashing fun, Thanks for the car seat cover, realy did the trick.
Leather and mud don't mix, some Fetish types may disagree though.
Show/hide user stats
Well, the image of you driving home nekid, apart from a face flannel draped over your gubbins was to much so seemed like the right thing to do haha.

Ya reckon the beers affected you today then? I felt peachy, even after (just the 1 bottle) the Paul Masson last night :D

3 weeks without drink was just plain wrong. That'll teach me ;o\

Don't have flannel's in that size ;)
The legs got better as the ride progressed, wine I suspect is better for you that Stella.

Its took me ten minutes to stop pissing meself at that Gareth. You should be on the stage man!!!

Riding downhill with a 16st William Wallace buzzin yer back tyre is enough to put even the best off ;-)

The wife has washed the Dunlop Greenflash's and they're sparkling.

Really good fun lads. See ya on wednesday night (If not Monday - Havent mentioned it to the wife yet simon)

Had a look into getting one of them group leader qualifications lads, anyone else interested ;-)
Show/hide user stats
What does the qualification entail? If it's b00ze related I'm in LOL :D

Is there any info online to peruse?(sp.?)

Meant to say, I have x2 weatherproof 8km 2-way radios I use when in convoys going to Jap/ Motor shows, might be worth cracking them oot on the larger rides.

Gaf
Show/hide user stats
Not a bad idea there Gaf. Hadnt thought of that.

The leader course was a piss take by the way.
