Oh dear how bad was it?
Over the bars, into a tree back first....(thank goodness I had a backprotector on) 2 ribs and the back has gone into spasm (hurts more than the ribs) Still scored 34 points though

It's a knarly looking bitch of a track though when you are healed let me know and we'll do Inners up lift. I haven't been out on mine since last year, need to get out on it again soon.

Looks knarly even on the footage Are you planning on doing the Killin or Inners round?
I hope to do Dave I'm definitely doing Innerleithen (if I get a ticket) Had a shock this mornin felt a lump in my back and pressed it (dumb I know) and it popped back in place, it was the end of one of the ribs! (brought a few tears to my eye's)

Get well soon Barry. Glad i called yesterdays ride off andy. I didnt get finished until 10pm with the handover so i think i would have been struggling to fit a ride in. On the plus side i did get to see first hand what the Old Coach Road that Dave Ingleby reffered to earlier. We too the 3.5t Merc Sprinter up there with 9 passengers and had a little bit of fun. Twitchy bum bum time on some of the bits
Sounds like you had fun, Andrew.
Bloody hell, Barry. That brings tears to my eyes just thinking about it. Get well soon mate.
I've also been thinking that the big bike hasn't had enough exercise (not that I'm up for racing, big wuss that I am). Just an idea at the moment - but if I could get Sharon and the kids away for a weekend, who would be interested in a Dumfries weekend at my place? Could do something like Ae Uplift one day and some trails the next.
Andrew, do you reckon Keswick Mountain Rescue would let us use their new toy as an uplift vehicle???
andy what a silly question sounds like a plan but it would be better riding the first day and up lift the second day def count me in. Is tally doing ae uplift regular?

Grrr, Mabie has kicked my ass again. Was flying round really enjoying myself and i hit another hidden rock. Over the bars again and i now have no skin left on my right knee. My shin has a big whelt from hitting the pedal and my left knee feels like its been hit with a hammer. Kids wont go near me for the blood
Lakes = fannies cheviots = hardcore guess who??
DTD = Cheviot Goat upliftscotland July 26nd Ouch Hobo , which boulder did you hit? Hope you put up a hazard warning sign
Honestly John it was pathetic. On descender bender just before one of the berms. Flicked the back of the bike up and i was helpless. There is a lot of overgrowth atm which is hiding a lot of the trailside. No excuse but it was a bigun for a solo ride
Yup, know what you mean, need to concentrate atm. Know of any Caddy sized vans for around the £4k budget? Workmates old Vaux is about to be relegated to the crusher!!
