Evening Still around and about happy to see everyone still out on bikes
Evening Barry, are you getting any cheeky rides in these days? I certainly hope so
Cheeky rides, how about Drumlanrigg in the dark Fan bloody tastic what a ball that was, it's a must do for everyone!!!
I concur Bloody excellent ride. How about a big group ride there. Hell i can take 5 of us and our bikes if you want me to drive
I am at work, taking broken things to bits.....luckily I will not have to put it all back together
Were you out with Rik? Got an invite from Sam @ Kirry to go over there some Tues night for a tour of their local stuff. Wondered for a while what the odd/occasional "crack" was from my transmission, thought it was just a bit of play in crank splines. Turns out the axle in my old(67yr old)Hope hub had snapped . Now fixed and spinning free

Morning all Mabie was ace last night as well Sorry I didn't have time to join you chaps up at Drumlanrig, glad you enjoyed it. Hopefully I'll catch up with you for a night ride next week. I like the idea of a Kirroughtree night ride.

Was the hub a christening present John? Was a good night for riding wasnt it Andy. Not with Rick John. We relied on Daves sense of direction which on the whole was perfectly fine.

Shim and I were supposed to be doing Dalby, but when I got up this morning I promptly text him and bailed. It was pretty grim over here.
Me, Kate and Tom did a local blast today. Rim deep for 80% of the ride, Hub deep for the other 20%. Altar Lane climb for us was like riding upstream. Sure I was passed by a spawning Salmon. Blown backwards at some points, soaked to the skin, snapped the carbon seatpost on my P7 and loved the whole ride from start to finish.

Hamsterley yesterday on the Socom, that baby flies felt like I was ripping the hill apart Following one of the log step downs you hit another couple of steps pretty fast and then into a big rock garden, it just floated over the lot bloody superb ride. The weather was the exact opposite of today, weird!!!!

I went to the in laws for dinner. Ripped up the mashed potatoes, hit the cabbage, nailed the roast beef and then railed the yorkshire puddings. Cracking dinner it was Now onto the last 1/3rd of my bottle of whiskey. On the plus side, the mother in law gave me one of her tubs of this stuff . Goodbye to knee & joint pain This stuff hid ligament damage in my ankle.

Whinlatter was rather wet and grim tonight. The torrential downpour finally stopped just as I got back to the car
Mabie was lovely. Bit wet under wheel/tyre but otherwise quite warm. Explored a couple of old routes Followed by a chicken lasagne and a couple of bottles
It must have been soaking, John. The amount of rain recently has just been ridiculous. Think I'm going to ride Kielder tomorrow. Aiming for a 10.30 start if anyone fancies tagging along.
Andy I will be very interested to know what you think..........
AndyEcc...........working tomorrow Mabie was not too bad, not really on many "proper" trails Anyone fancy Dalbeattie or Mabie next weekend; Dalbeattie and Mabie 14th & 15th This will be followed by a pub crawl on Sat
Supping some cheap Mexican 4.5% Sol beer atm Work has started on the Mabie Ridge upgrade. Work will then move to repairing Descender Bender which will be closed and diverted for a while
