Christ almighty I'm fooked. Just done a 65 miler on the roadie, nothing new there but this time the weather turned big style. I had a 20-30 mph headwind for the 35 miles back home!

Off out for a pub tea shortly though

Blue sky when I went out then an hour later a gale hit & the rain & wind basically stopped you in your tracks.  The trails on the way home were mostly underwater despite being clear on the way out.

Half hour after I got home the blue sky reappeared.

Those plus the cost of replacing worn out components....

LOL, very true Nobby.  I need 4 new tyres on the family wagon so no new bike bits this week.  What tyres for a Passat?

I've got 4 firestone boots on the Vectra, got them on special for £60 each...compared to the dong sung yee no name ones before them they are very good and do make the car feel a lot better.

We've got a serious electrical fault on the Van at the moment which I'm trying to look at...(it's draining power from somewhere) I noticed the wheels are wearing thin on the insides of the front tyres...probably because she's it's lowered with with the wrong size massive alloys taken from an Audi...£200 each!

Thats the cost of vanity wheels plus I think it's also knackering the power steering unit as it whines when trying to turn the wheels...probably because they are fatter and bigger than the standard fitted wheels...and have been put on without any extra mods to the rest of the steering/suspension system.

It is however her pride and joy, still, I'm not going to be the one who tells her how much it will cost for new tyres though!
