Yes the problem was the skate park was, as expected filled with hoodie wearing teenagers - so gave the park a miss
Went for a ride around the prom with the kids. It's very grippy, but not as easy to hoik the front wheel up as I expected. I'm going to have to learn how to do wheelies

Tell my eldest his tea is ready. He'll be the spotty one untidily dressed in expensive clothes with his arms draped round a teenage girl of similar ilk.
Am I right in thinking nobody is about tomorrow. I have been without home internet for three days due to modem problem. Luckily have 3G, Blackberry and work to fall back on.
SW remember you nearly getting those Revs at Deggy...I wish I had taken the plunge cos I now have the means and am looking for 130mm forks better than the Toras. First decision coil or air taking into account my varying weight.
Good point about the weight change ,although it is not critical to within a stone or so as my 66s will testify to the main advantages seem to be :- air weight ,adjustment, . coil :- bombproof, very plush, set and forget, and you dont need to carry an air pump with you ,well thats my 2ps worth ps you playin next weekend Wrinkles?
Some excellent advice from people who know..........but being me I ignored it all!
Decided to weigh up how much riding I do with my wish for a plusher ride and my need to leave as much as possible hidden from the boss so I have more to play with when I get a new frame (next move). Revs are great and my first choice. Air is probably better if I go up and down in fattness.....but
The new forks currently sitting on my bike are Recon Coil U turn which apart from the alloy steerer are very similar to Revs. If I need a heavier sprng then that is not a great issue.
Anyone wanting a very little used pair of Tora 318 130mm please go to Ebay.
SW - My availability for next week is dependant on work but could well be out at least one day unless I am in Kent the famous MTB wilderness.
