Latest forecast suggests I'll be going to work.....  But also that I'll be able to ride on Saturday morning.  Anyone who goes to church fancy a Saturday ride?

Anyone going to the bike show?

See you guys tonight at the Palm Tree Inn, two days of nice weather we should be OK tonight.

On Sunday (12th Oct) Soren, me and some friends will be ridding at Holmbury and Leith Hills in Surrey. We meet at 07:45 for a 08:00 start, the car journey is 1.5 hrs from Ashford but it is well worth it as IMHO this is the best biking anywhere in the SE of England. We generally get back to Ashford by 14:00.

Anyone who wants to join please come along.  We can talk tonight about it.

Yes, Jert. OAB and I are off to the bike show tomorrow. Really looking forward to it!

And yes, I can also vouch that Leith Hill has excellent riding. Rode there for a couple of days 2 years ago.

We came across a car crash on the way home, pretty serious, 2 cars head on. We must have been 4 or 5 cars behind. Adam was infront of us. Pete and Adam went to see what had happened then I remembered that Coll was just ahead of us so got out and ran up to the scene to check. Coll was there on the phone to the police and was fine.
terrible mess though, 4 people involved, 2 in a bad way. Pete and Adam and Coll and I helped out with things until police and ambulance arrived.

That poor policeman took one look at the guy I was with and heard his lungs gurggling, then put on his coat, got on the radio and scuttled away! Glad when the ambulance crew finally turned up.

We've been to the bike show today. A great day out. We didn't buy a thing except a subscription to Singletrack. Lots of lovely shiney things though!

Lost and Coll, OAB says if we want to run over to Weasels thing on Monday, he will pick us up later. We could take a change of top in rucksacks and do a quick change on arrival so as not to stink out the other guests. Let me know if you are interested.

BB. Also bought 2 singletrack mugs, so we can have a cup of tea whilst reading!
