Sorry I did mean "The Happy Group" Noodle! JERT - Saturday is the new Sunday! There will be a ride leaving from the Cat and Custard Pot in Paddlesworth at 10:00 on Saturday morning, as it will be raining on Sunday.... Hope to see you there! Nice ride last night guys - the Happy Group are getting faster! I nearly killed myself trying to get away along the canal bank last night. Within a minute or so, everyone was there and ready to ride again - good stuff! More importantly everybody is sticking with it and riding through the winter. Might need 3 groups next year - Fast / Happy / Slow !!

"long live the happy group" Ok, So is any one interested in a ride on monday night, seven ish from well anywhere close'ish to be honest, ...that being Sandgate etc etc. I hope I can find some interested bods as I am still needing to improve my stamina fitness etc, as was abundantly clear every time we hit a hill, slop, slight rise, well you get the point im sure. (and im still a bit scared of the dark!!) And thanks for the ride last night was good fun, with every one laughing at me with my technicale pedal difficulties

Crusher, I'll come out on Monday with you. Just name the time and place and I'll sneak out for a ride. I have to say that you are fine going downhill and you carry good speed when you step on the gas, but, like me, you suffer on the climbs. It's just mass and gravity!!! Jack is 7stone and flies up the hills. Luke must be around 10stone. Give him a 140lb rucksack and see if he can still beat you on the climbs!! So who is coming out to play in the morning? Bod and I are up for it. The forecast for tomorrow morning isn't amazing, but it's shedloads better than Sundays forecast!
Yep - are you planning on dodging salad after?
YAY Well done vapour, any more out there..... Im thinking about a start place, will post tomorow
Crusher, base your start place around a pub and you'll get a better turn out!!
may think about a Monday night excursion, as my Thursdays are limited......

Great ride this morning.... Two punctures on Sarah's bike and a busted seatpost in the first half hour, then back to the pub and it wasn't even open - bummer! Good luck at Fowlmead Noodle. I'm not sure which tyres to recommend.... Full wets? Crusher - Bod is also coming along on Monday evening....

Cheers Vapour Trail, think il give the slicks a miss.At least it wont be fecking dusty like last time, dont like the taste of the coal dust to much. The busted seat post sound painfull! Have a good weekend.

Well here goes for monday night, 1845 for 1900 start How about the provedence inn, in Sandgate as a starting point, (dont know about bike storage after the ride though) Then maybe up Military hill across to hospital hill up to the top of sandy lane, towards Hythe and up past the christian centre, acroos to and then up Blackhouse hill, left down to the Castle, through the village and upto Pedlinge and the old church, top of Lympne hill across the top of the zoo, down otterpool lane and along the A20 for quite a long road section to a little footpath (only walked it a few months ago so !!!) that will bring us out at the Pedlinge field and then down and back to Slaughterbrook house back up to saltwood and then back to Sandgate, not really got a route for that bit, wow that seems alot, any suggestions, and is that too much detail, im allready dredding it.... ohh and I might have got some of the names wrong so who knows
