 Tossed a coin and the sofa won! ie not riding tonight. Up for a ride on Sunday though as it looks dry and sunny (will ride regardless). Anyone up for a ride @ 10am - Wye/Hastingleigh/Bodsham or westwood with a detour?

Ok, Here goes for a first post, gunna leave it to all your collective imaginations as to who I am.. Im new'ish to the regular thursday night ride, the happy go lucky group are my choice of riding companions, seeing as when i go fast and hard im too knackered to speak at the end of the ride, that being if im able to keep up at all, firstly a big thanks to all you very hospitable people for making me feel welcome, secondly would any one be up for a cheeky little ride out on this coming Monday(26th) after seven in the evening ?, maybe lympne area, or there abouts, if not this week maybe next, as im trying to improve my skill and fitness levels, and get bored playing on me own, also a bit scared of the dark....... thanks.........

 The dark must be feckin scary if you're scared of it. Personally, if I was the dark, I'd be scared of you  This Monday might not be the best as the spice spectacular is planned for Tuesday to celebrate the birthday o the plastic fantastic (and well abused) Sheryl. I can't do Monday as I will be away for work.

 OK you tyre dudes. as I don't work Fridays I thought I would put some science behind all the recent tyre recommendations. I went over the Blean today with a selection of tyres as recommended here and timed myself round the same circuit for each combination. the circuit was 5km long with circa 170m of climbing and descending with a good long section of wet, muddy, leaf covered single track. it was interesting that my initial findings are that all the times were pretty close but the feel of the tyres varied considerably in some cases. when I have complied the resouts by tyre I will post it for your intelligent comments!

 Nice 1 Ashford Boy,look forward to seeing the results of the tyre tests,looks like all the tyre geeks are coming outa the closit since Rev started us off.Got my light back from Hope today so im happy again. Crusher i think you might be a friend of Grafix,am i right? Well up 4 a ride on Sunday as i have permission from Mrs.Noodle 2 ,keep me posted.
