2. the whole range probably isn't all pink and sparkly

3. i doubt it has pockets for your tool, wrench and nuts etc

Thanks to Lush for being the best pair  partner (sorry I made you go out on that final lap, but as the young whippersnappers didn't suffer any mechanical or physical failures on the last lap, if nothing else it did mean we got 9th out of 83 men pairs!)- and to the rest of the D2Dteam, eternally grateful for the fantastic support on cheering, refuelling and bike maintenance.

No report of the Activ Heavies?  Perhaps their times got mixed up between the Mens Pairs and the Mixed Pairs?

Rode yesterday and could have done with a couple of tyre swaps on the way round - so variable were the conditions.

In an effort not to get cooked (boil in the bag) in my waterproof, I decided not wear my camelback and just to go out with bare essentials (water bottle, pump, spare tube, patches, phone) and during my ride I lost my pump.  Gutted - it was a nice Crank Brothers pump, with high pressure/high volume settings and a guage.  If any of you are riding on the old railway track between Peene and Etchinghill or up Tolsford Hill and you see it please hand it back.  I've already had a look but may have missed it!  I'll probably be baby sitting tomorrow night so have fun at The Palm Trees!

I hope to be riding at the weekend, depending on the flying....  The wind forecast changes every 4 hours.....  Looks dry though.

How can you ride without wheels though Rioja?
