The new frame has arrived from Spesh

Just bought new bars stem shifters grips front mech just need some Forks, it was like being a kid in a sweety shop.

Assembly to start tomorrow

Question of which came first the crash 18 months ago involved seat post down tube and forks clattering in to a boulder at about 20 MPH

The original crease turned into a crack as above, which I funnily enough didn't notice as I thought it was my bad paint job flaking.

Then I noticed a clicking every pedal rev which was the crack on the weld. So been spending today so far:-

New stem, front mech, bars HT2 chain-set, Grips, shifters and chain.

Frame complete with shock chainstay protector and seat clamp weighs in at 2560 Grams, 5lb 10oz in old money. So should be weighing in at around 26lb fully built

Tomorrow looking for rear mech forks saddle and headset.

Dan, yep but only slightly more than the cost of a new Shock.

Specialized seem really good for service and any issues. Went back Monday received new frame Yesterday. 

And although it would have been nice to get it for free, there's no denuying I crashed it. 

Dan no new fox shock arrived with the frame and have just bought a pair of shiny new Hope M4's and a headset.

Looks tres bon... are they 4"?  As a notional thing I would like such a bike in the future when excess amounts of money justify it... 

Anyhojoe, just done 30 ish miles on it and it rides well, engine and skills let it down a tad.

Currently running 100mm [4"] on forks and 120mm [4.75"] on the rear, hoping to change the forks when I get some more dosh.
