LOL, not just me watching Sky News last night then?

It's better to be a Man U fan than a Michael Jackson fan, because Man U will still be playing Giggs in August.

It's the same with any `big` news story though isn't it, Mike. The 24 hours media converge on site of said news story and then struggle to make the article last 3 minutes. Let alone the hours they're stationed there for. MJ* he's our new Jade. *In fairness, at least he did have talent.
|
 |
That's the nature of our 24hr rolling news stations. [Sneaks a look at Sky News, adverts, BBC News, weather, thunder on the way , flicks back to Wimbledon.]

he may of had talent but that died about 25 years before he did, maybe now the truth will come out about the jordan chandler pay off.

I thought it was a jerk off?

I thought it was a jerk off? That was the pay off!

Well is is often referred to as the money shot I suppose.

Michael Jacksons remains are not to be buried or cremated but are to be recycled into plastic bags so he can remain white, plastic and dangerous for kids to play with!
*News just in* Michael Jackson did not die of a heart attack, he was found in the childrens ward having a stroke!

What's the difference between Farah Fawcett and Michael Jackson? One did Majors the other did minors.

What's the difference between Farah Fawcett and Michael Jackson? One did Majors the other did minors. The youngsters won't get that.
|
 |
They can ask their parents to explain. Or turn to page pages 10 - 20 of todays paper. Past all the gushing MJ tributes and look for the small column which Farah probably got and it might be explained there.

Well we only need Gary Glitter to go and the kids can walk the streets again .

What's the difference between Michael Jackson and Farah Fawcett? About a couple of hours

Heard the jokes, laughed at most of them, and would not have hired the chap as a babysitter. BUT from his Jackson 5 days till the mid eighties he put out some crackin tunes. ABC, Bille Jean, Thriller -practically invented the music video. Not a great man, more weirdy freak, but a pop legdend.

I find it some what bemusing when arguing with the GF earlier about Thriller the album - biggest seller in history apparently, so name/sing a song other than the title track. Erm,erm ..... ok then, so sing me a song other than Bille Jean/Thriller then ....erm, erm.... Bet you could sing more Cure songs off the top of your head, well yes .... but. A performer yes, but hardly a long lasting musical legacy. All this crap about the first black famous musician, what patronising s**te, what about James Brown/Otis Reading/JL Hooker/Miles Davis ? Now they were talented and their music will be still be appreciated any number of years down the line.

What gav said. I have never owned a jacko album.
|
 |
I agree with Gav, BUT i must say that despite the MJ songs being on auto-reverse for the past 24hrs, i havent heard a song that i didnt recognise or failed to enjoy. I think part of his success was down to being able to be so different but his music is still worth listening to. On another note though, i am getting pretty sick of all this facebook style nonsense about this. When Miss Piggy (Goody) died i had to put a notice on my facebook page asking people to stop asking me to joing bloody causes. I am gonna have to put something a little stronger on for Mr Jackson because its becoming irritating. I dont care that he has died. He was a bloody freak of nature and imo we had seen the best of him anyhow. Better for him to die with a bit of mystery surrounding him than become the piss stained cripple he was heading towards. Lets listen to his songs and move on people.
