Just heard his interview on itv 4, and what a nice cheerful chappie he seems, a great diplomat for all new to cycling.

He does seem to have done some growing up and developed some sense of modesty.  Good ride by Wiggins earlier.

Aswith some people the older they get the mature they get, except possibly on here.

Anyone else noticed the likeness to the lad off Westlife.

Hardly thinklust comes into it, jealously yes.

A lot of top sportsmen are arrogant buggers but Cav over did it before he had a right to be arrogant IMO.  It'd be nice of he'd toned it down a bit this year.

Think you will find he's in 14th place

Or did you mean

Bradley Wiggins is in 3rd place overall?

Great sprinters have always been a bit arrogant, look at Capello (sp?) Italain bloke with a penchant for topless girls.

To be fair to Cavb  his 'I will be the best sprinter in the world, I am the best sprinter in the world'  has been proved right. Let's be honest, most sports people when interviewed are 2 steps from complete inaneness - if it was me I'd be saying'

'look your worthless scum, I'm the f**king daddy at this sprinting sh*te and you's f**king knows it !'

As far as I am aware that bloke is the manager of the England football team and it was his foreign predessor that was into the topless girls!

Or did you mean Cipollini?

Some sportsmen can carry the arrogance by also being charismatic, Cavandish seems to be a charisma free zone so just comes across as a cock.

Aye him. Both Italian and begin with a C, and are into that sports thing.

Another stage to Cav! Although some bizarre team tactics at Astana having Lance and the boys seemingly riding to put time against their captain Contador.

Yay!  Go Cavendish!

The only Brit to have ever worn the green jersey for more than a single day.
