there is a lever reach screw in the lever! it wasnt in the instructions so i didnt look there, silly really. i found mine just before it fell out, advise use loctite threadlock!! i remember reading the reviews saying how the lever reach and pad adjustment wasnt separate. it isnt. my lever came with the adjuster out and the lever close to the bar. TNow, you already know the brake has masses of modulation? well, the closer to the bar the lever is, the less max power you have available.
i suggest everyone plays with the lever adjustment, by putting the lever out more, you will find your max power increasing. Since this information wasnt in the instructions, when my system gets dirty my power is greatly reduced. now with the lever out, meaning more modulation and more likely to hit the max power point, when my disc gets dirty there will no longer be the reduction of power to the point of being slightly dangerous in traffic.
if you already know all this, where did you find out? ive read and reread the instructions and cant find this important info anywhere.
What i have now is a lever that is out a bit further than im used to(the joys of hs33 setup) but i now am even more impressed with my brake. ENDO!!!!
