Wouldn't a C2 be more controllable on the back? More 'feel', with the brute power of an E4 on the front?

thats what i'm thinking, but then i could probably use the extra power of the E4 on the back too, the front 185mm E4 doesn't slow me down enough!

A 185 E4 doesn't slow you enough!? Is it set up/bedded in correctly? Whatever the problems on the front, I can't imagine ANY disc brake not working on the rear, even canti's can lock up one o' them.

can you say 16 stone 6 lbs at 30mph off road? its set up and bedded in fine, it just can't stop me fast enough. 165 e4 be good?

get a 185mm rear, upgrade the front to a 205mm, i doubt you really having probs stopping, if you are just pull harder on the brakes, i now guys that fly DH and can stop using Vees, and they weigh same as and more than you

if i pull the levers any harder the bloody thing will just lock, and i cant afford to get a new calliper half and disc.
