Having purchased the Mottex 3 Cycle Stand from Halfords and lugged this weighty and awkward to carry item home on the bus, kneecapping myself twice in the process, imagine my surprise when attempting to place my families cycles in said item that it will not accomodate a standard 1.95 tyre let alone the 2.1 on my bike. This shiny piece of crap was then duly slung up the garden so I can at least comment on it`s durability. Having cleaned the grass and mud off it was taken back to Halfords in Peterborough by car, on returning it when asked the reason for the request for reimbursement the words its F*****G USELESS sprang to mind, but for the sake of civility a brief explanation of its unsuitability was given. I have since emailed Halfords and I am still waiting for a reply from their products manager, I won`t hold my breath, but why sell something that will be useless for the vast majority of purchasers. If anyone knows of a similar product that will take a MTB tyre and hold 3 bikes please let me know as they are still leaning on each other in the shed. Cheers Rich
