Its finally got too cold to wear my Fox Sierra gloves every day. They're great for mountain biking: enough padding and flexible, but they're more of a spring/autumn glove. My full-on Altura winter beasties may be toasty, but they're stiff as, well, a stiff thing.
I need a compromise. The Specialized BG winter MX glove look pretty nifty on Wiggle. Ayone any ideas?
There is another thread on this that is only a few days old - but what you want are dirt cheap and really skinny thermal liners for you fox gloves - about £2 from outdoor shops - and perfect.
Either neoprene type gloves are great (spesh used to make a lengendary one) Or if it is colder windstopper fleece, such as gore bike wear make are superb considering how thin they are.
the classic old spesh neoprene gloves are the best wet weather gloves i've ever come across. mine are still going strong, even though a bit ragged. spesh don't make them anymore, but i'm sure a firm like caratti make a copy of them. i've also got some very thin northwave ones made of some funky waterproof windproof stuff.they work really well, not sure what they're called. black with a nw logo on them.
